New free topic maps tool; TMInspector

TMInspector is a small but powerful tool when working with topic maps, with it you can easily import and export maps as XTM 1.0 & 2.0, get information about the maps, and also merge them together. TMInspector is free-of-charge, open source, and part of the TM++ topic maps engine example suite.

Here I merge the two topic maps bands.xtm (contains a lot of music bands), and consertHalls.xtm (contains consert halls). First I import both topic maps:



Now the the two topic maps has been imported I merge them together and export the new map as a XTM 2.0 file:



In this example I convert the XTM 1.0 file bands.xtm to a XTM 2.0 file:



The TMInspector executable for Windows(R) can be downloaded from here (download size is about 0.4 Mb), users of other operating systems must compile the TM++ source code example available from the TM++ homepage.
